Happy Fox Going to a New Home
Happy Fox Steals the Moon has been sold!
I am both happy and a little sad to see him go. I know he’s going to a good home though, so that certainly mitigates the majority of the protective twitching I get when I sell something and have to let it go.

Nearly finished with this one. He was a surprising amount of work, though I think the next time I make a similar pendant it won’t be as complicated as I learned quite a bit in his construction. Tricksy little bugger, he is.
PMC3, which means he’s .999 silver. I buffed up most of his front considerably before applying the staining element, so his hunched up little back is particularly nice to the touch.

Not ready to show the new OotB pieces just yet, but in the meantime I have a few other things to show.
In progress shot of the ‘Happy Fox steals the Moon’ in PMC:
He still needs a bit of work before going into the kiln, but thus far I’m pleased with the results. The ‘moon’ at his tail is a dichroic glass cabochon and has flecks of purple and blue within it.

More schtuff from the workshop this weekend - this time the non-glass pieces. They need a bit more burnishing and general polish work, but are overall quite close to completion.
Real mink vertabrae coated in pmc:
This guy is quite tiny, just about a centimeter in length, not including the top spike (in this case, on the bottom).

I’m breaking this up into two posts, so as not to hog everyones’ bandwidth yet again. (though they are still large images)
The two pmc + glass pieces that I made over the weekend…

PMC supplies have been aquired, so that I may now make odd little things out of silver at home as well. Much thanks to those who realized what a wonderful gift the supplies would make.
I have a ‘working with glass & pmc’ workshop I’ll be attending this weekend, so we’ll see what comes of it.
I’ve also gotten a much better camera as part of the holiday haul, so hopefully the photos I take henceforth should be a bit more defined and overall better quality.
